Namibia and Netherlands are slotted in Group A of the ICC T20 World Cup, with former World Cup winner Sri Lanka and Asian strong side UAE as the other two competitors in the group. Eagles, as famously known, Namibia will be playing in its 2nd T20 world Cup. Considered as minnows in the tournament, Namibia reached Super 12 in the last edition of the tournament.
Netherlands will be playing in their 5th T20 World Cup series. They managed to reach Super 10 in world Cup 2014 but could not clear group stage in any other editions of the tournament. Netherlands ranked 18 in the world is currently a lowest ranked team in the Group A. They will face UAE on the opening night, while Namibia will face Sri Lanka on the same day.
